History of the Coalition

The Park County Senior Coalition (PCSC) was established in 1977 as a social organization for Fairplay seniors.  In 1977, the first transportation grant was received to purchase a 14 passenger van and provide transportation for seniors in the Fairplay area.

Transportation moved to the forefront, the organization became focused on service rather than social activities, and service expanded throughout the county.

In 1984, the organization incorporated as Park County Senior Coalition, Inc., a private nonprofit organization.  Programs now
                                     include
